In 2020 I went through the loneliest part of my life. I felt unseen and unheard. Life felt out of place, and I felt like I had no one who could relate to my problems. I navigated life alone and afraid, and made lots of bad mistakes, hurting myself and those around me. That's why I made Bruised in 2023. I never want anyone to feel the way I felt in 2020.

Bruised's Mission.

Bruised is a premium clothing brand founded in 2023 with the goal to spread awareness about mental health.
Mental health is a real issue that is affecting millions worldwide, especially those in the emo/grunge communities
Many people rely on external substances or internal harm to keep them going through these times.
The mission is to create a community where people feel safe to open up on any circumstance, and to prevent those struggling from using external substances or internal harm to feel loved and heard.
There is power in sharing stories, venting to one another and supporting eachouther as a community. We may not have all the answers to our problems, but at least we’re fighting this battle together.
We may be bruised from our past, but we’re not broken, and that’s what keeps us going.

We may be bruised from our past, but we're not broken.

The Goal.

We are building a community of people who resonate with our message and are actively taking steps to bettering their own mental health, as a family. Brick by brick we will build the largest mental health community, with thousands of lives saved, and millions having a community they can call family.
The goal is to bring millions of people artistic expression through clothing and redefining and removing the negative stereotypes associated with alternative clothing, while enforcing the idea that although you may be hurt from your past, it is important to move forward and not let that issue define who you are today. Our clothing serves as a reminder that emo clothing not only is an outlet, but a positive outlet when used correctly.
Through our community, we will reap these positive effects, shedding light to the world we live in.
